A system for producing photographic prints includes a digital camera, having a memory configured for storing images, and a stand-alone printer. The printer includes a docking port and control devices. The docking port is configured to mechanically receive the digital camera. The control devices are configured to allow selection of an image from the memory of the digital camera, and to initiate printing thereof by the printer. The system and method allow a user to deliver an image captured by the digital camera, either as a hard-copy print or as an electronic file, using controls of the printer device.
Insulating Sleeve For Grasping Container And Manufacturing Method
An embodiment of the present invention is a sleeve, which facilitates the gripping of, and insulates the hand from, a hot or cold container. The sleeve comprises of sheet foam of a thick, opaque, plastic material that is suitable for snuggly fitting over the exterior surface of a container while permitting any pre-printed indicia on the sheet foam to be visible there through. The sleeve is opaque enough to cover any printing on the container itself. The foam is also available in a variety of forms such as anti-static, laminated, expanded and high or low density which provide different degrees of protection. Different density plastic foam and film material is used to achieve the opaque, thick, gripping and insulating effect for use with a variety of containers.
The present invention relates to a laminated sleeve for use with a container and a method for manufacturing the same. The laminated sleeve comprises a plurality of layers, wherein at least one layer is a thermal insulating layer and at least one other layer is a graphic objects display layer suitable for printing at least one graphic object thereon. In a preferred embodiment, the graphic objects display layer comprises a paper product. According to the present invention, because the graphic objects display layer is a paper material, small printing runs can be performed easily using conventional paper printing techniques that are well known to those skilled in the art. The laminated sleeve of the present invention, therefore, is cost effective for small and large printing runs, durable, compact, and possesses superior thermal insulation properties.
A stripline tapped-line filter is disclosed including a first substrate upon which a plurality of N hairpin resonators are disposed alternately on opposite surfaces of the first substrate. Each one of the hairpin resonators is in a parallel coupled relationship with an adjacent hairpin resonator disposed on an opposite surface of the first substrate. The first and last hairpin resonators each have an interconnected member disposed on the substrate for respectively coupling a signal into and out of the plurality of N hairpin resonators. Second and third substrates are included with each being respectively located adjacent to ones of the plurality of N hairpin resonators on opposite surfaces of the first substrate. First and second groundplanes are included with each respectively located adjacent the second and third substrates.

Abstract:
A very low reflection transition with tightly controlled variability between a rectangular coaxial transmission line and a microstrip transmission line. The microstrip ground plane is extended under the transition region to form the transition ground plane. The upper portion of the dielectric of the rectangular coaxial transmission line is removed at the transition region, together with the upper portion of the center conductor. The spacing between the transition center conductor and the ground plane is reduced in relation to the spacing between the rectangular coaxial line center conductor and outer conductive shield. A tuning cavity is formed in the transition ground plane beneath the transition center conductor.
Low Noise Microwave Amplifier Having Optimal Stability, Gain, And Noise Control
A gallium arsenide MESFET amplifier circuit employing a parallel feedback network having first and second transmission line section filtering networks connected on either side of a series R-C-R circuit. In one optimized embodiment, the transmission line sections each include low and high impedances unequal in length to one-quarter wavelength. The use of two discrete resistors, together with the filtering networks to eliminate thermal noise generated by the resistors, provides optimum gain, low noise, and stable operation over a wide range of microwave frequencies.
Rectangular Coaxial Line To Microstrip Line Matching Transition And Antenna Subarray Including The Same
A microwave circuit including a rectangular coaxial transmission line, a microstrip transmission line and a wideband transition section for transitioning between the rectangular coaxial and microstrip lines. The transition section includes a capacitive section which cancels inductive reactance caused by physical discontinuities at the transition junction. The transition section includes a conductive tab extending from the rectangular coaxial center conductor which is electrically connected to the microstrip conductor line. The capacitive section can take the form of a dielectric disk of greater dielectric constant than that of the rectangular coaxial dielectric section, or an area of increased cross-sectional dimension of the rectangular coaxial center conductor.
