Abstract:

A modular air flow distribution system that provides directional control of cooling air intake and exiting exhaust air for computer housings and circuit board chassis. The system comprising at least one air flow distribution module that is configured to intake cooling air from a first direction, and exit cooling air in a second, different direction which may be substantially perpendicular or orthogonal to the first direction. Each air flow distribution module includes an air intake adjacent a front edge, air exits adjacent a side edge, and one or more internal air directing channel positioned within the module to direct air from the intake towards the exit ports. The air flow distribution modules are configured to fit adjacent circuit boards within a multi-board chassis such that the air exiting each module passes over a circuit board to provide cooling thereto.

Abstract:

A system and method of information extraction and storage extracts information from a plurality of articles in a distributed manner and stores the extracted information in an information store. In one embodiment, the system includes identification of a plurality of articles from which information is to be extracted and a plurality of information extractors for extracting the information from the articles. A database is provided for storing information related to the plurality of articles and the plurality of information extractors. The plurality of articles are assigned to the plurality of information extractors for information extraction and the extracted information is then stored in the information store.

Abstract:

The method and system for extracting information from a plurality of articles and for storing the extracted information in a knowledge-based information store. The method and system identify a plurality of articles from which information is to be extracted. The method and system identify and assign a plurality of information extractors for extracting information from the plurality of articles. The method and system receive information extracted by an information extractor from an article assigned to the information extractor. The method and system enable a content reviewer to review the extracted information received from the information extractor and the content reviewer identifies errors associated with the extracted information. If the error count is above the threshold level, the article may be reassigned for information extraction. If the error count is equal to or below the threshold level, the content reviewer may change the extracted information to correct the errors.

A modularized redundant heat sink for dissipating heat generated from chips includes an independent rectangular fin whose sides are provided with at least more than two elastic pins, and which is provided with a bottom surface for conducting temperature; a circuit board on which are welded with at least more than two chips having upper surfaces. A bottom surface of the fin is attached to the upper surfaces of at least more than two chips through a heat conducting glue, so as to provide a temperature conducting and heat dissipating to at least more than two chips by one fin.

Abstract:

A air shroud for dissipating heat from an electronic component is composed of a air shroud of a roughly U-shaped cross section, whose left and right sides are formed into a first and a second opening, respectively. A passage is formed between the first and second openings, enabling air to flow along a specific direction. A flexible thin piece is fixed inside the air shroud which covers a specific electronic component on a circuit board, and the flexible thin piece is touched with a surface of the electronic component. The fast-flowing air flows quickly along the passage, so as to effectively cool down a working temperature of the specific electronic component, thereby increasing a lifetime of usage of the specific electronic component.

Abstract:

A positioning device for fixing an interface card on a computer casing without using screws, is composed of a vertical wall board of a computer casing, which is provided with long through-holes; fixing seats, which are connected on an interface of the vertical wall board, and are provided with shaft holes and one movable groove; elastic members, which are provided with shaft holes and spring leaves, and are emplaced into the movable grooves; a shaft, which is connected on the fixing seats and the elastic members; and an interface card is provided with a cover, with an end of the cover being provided with an outer board. When the elastic member is subjected to force to rotate, the spring leaf will be abutted on the outer board. When the elastic member rotates reversely, the spring leaf will be escaped from the outer board, and the cover and the interface card can be removed from the vertical wall board simultaneously.

Abstract:
