Abstract:

A disclosed processor includes update logic coupled to a register. The update logic receives a first signal indicative of a first add-compare-select (ACS) instruction result and a second signal indicative of a second ACS instruction result, and updates the contents of the register dependent upon the first and second signals. In the event the first and second signals are received substantially simultaneously, the update logic shifts the contents of the register 2 bit positions in order thereby vacating 2 consecutive bit positions, updates one of the vacated bit positions dependent upon the first signal, and updates the other vacated bit position dependent upon the second signal. A described method for decoding convolutional code includes generating computer program code for a processor including two or more ACS instructions. Storage elements specified by each of the ACS instructions are selected such that the processor can execute the ACS instructions substantially simultaneously.

Abstract:

A drinking apparatus is described for use in any activity where a person desires to have easy access to a drink. The drinking apparatus includes a bottle for storing a fluid and a tube accessible by the mouth of a user to apply suction for drinking from the bottle. A flow control device is provided in communication with the tube so that once suction is applied, fluid may flow from the bottle toward the point of suction, but cannot flow in the opposite direction back into the bottle.

Abstract:

A modular floor exercise assembly for performing floor exercises includes a plurality of floor supports that is each removably attachable together to form a bridge-like structure that can be positioned on a support surface. A pair of cross members is each removably attachable between a respective pair of the floor supports. A handle unit is removably attachable to the cross members when the cross members are attached to the floor supports. Thus, the handle unit can be gripped by a user thereby facilitating the user to perform floor exercises such as a pushup. The handle unit is slidable along each of the cross members to facilitate the user to perform the floor exercises at a variety of different angles with respect to the support surface.
