Abstract:
A method of mechanically frothing and casting an aqueous ionic polyurethane dispersion to yield a mechanically frothed polyurethane foam. The method comprises admixing an aqueous ionic polyurethane dispersion with a stearate stabilizer and an optional aziridine crosslinking agent, and frothing the low viscosity admixture. The polyurethane dispersion contains particles having an average size of less than one micron, and contains between 35 and 70 percent by weight dispersed polyurethane solids. Preferably, each polyurethane particle in the aqueous dispersion is crosslinked. Before frothing, the low viscosity admixture contains between 33 and 87 percent by weight of the polyurethane dispersion, up to 33 percent by weight of an azirdine composition and between 13 and 50 percent by weight of a 33 percent aqueous dispersion of a stearate salt and has, as a result, a viscosity in the range of 100 to 200 centipoise. After frothing, the frothed admixture is knife-coated and cured into a flexible foam sheet.
Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive Formulation Comprising Underindexed Isocyanate To Active Hydrogen Composition
A pressure-sensitive adhesive prepared from a two-package polyurethane system; the two packages comprise an isocyanate reactant and an active hydrogen reactant. The reactants are characterized by a molar insufficiency of isocyanate and at least some tri- or higher-functionality in either the active hydrogen or the isocyanate reactant, or both. The underindexing should range from 0. 4 to 0. 75 when the higher functionality reactant has a functionality of 2. 1, and should range from 0. 3 to 0. 7 when the higher functionality reactant has a functionality of 4, with linearly extrapolated values in between. Pressure sensitive adhesives prepared from this system provide comparable shear resistance as do solvent-system polyurethane adhesives, without the worksite and environmental problems associated with such solvent systems.
A double-sided adhesive-coated foam tape particularly for bonding two adjacent rigid surfaces in which fine grooves on one or both sides of the tape facilitate air venting to minimize non-contact areas. The tape is used by affixing one side of the tape--the non-grooved side if only one side of the tape is grooved--to a first rigid surface to be adhered, removing the release liner from the grooved tape surface and pressing onto the grooved tape the second rigid surface intended for bonding. The grooves in the tape are fine enough that, once the two surfaces to be bonded are in position, the grooves largely or completely disappear.

Ramsey was wrongly kicked off the football team in 2010 over improper help from the former tutor. His attorney, Robert Orr, convinced the NCAA that Ramsey had done nothing wrong. Ramsey returned to the team but then suffered a career-ending knee injury.
Both men were charged with conspiracy to defraud the SEC and three counts of making false statements to the agency. Robert Orr faced two additional counts of making false statements to the SEC and one count of bankruptcy fraud.

Muhammad's attorney, Robert Orr, said those visits were to Duke and North Carolina and were paid for by Benjamin Lincoln, a financial adviser from North Carolina who is a friend of Muhammad's family.
The Muhammads have claimed that Lincoln has been a family friend for five years. And Muhammad's attorney, Robert Orr, contends that Lincoln sought approval from the NCAA before paying for Muhammad's travel and lodging.
