Bragging Rights:

Survived growing up wearing hearing aids and being bullied in school, survived two marriages, the first which ended in divorce, the second when my husband slipped and fell on an icy patch, struck his head on the ice/pavement, suffered a major subdural hematoma and was brain dead upon arrival to the ER. I then survived his ex wife and four daughters turning on me and suing me for my entire yerusha (inheritance) and attempting to deprive me of any and all benefits (including social security!). I survived making two moves in as many years - first from Teaneck, NJ to Baltimore, MD where I knew not a soul. A year and a half later I moved halfway around the world, to Israel - I made aliyah. That was a year and a half ago. I am currently surviving having my daughter and her family (husband, two little boys) living with me. I survived major surgery to correct a minor deformity in my right leg which was causing me pain. In fact, I am currently surviving that, with a Taylor Spatial Frame attached to my leg via screws into my leg!
