• Showing their gratitude with elbow grease, hammers and nails, as many as 50 relatives of the Miller girls pledged to raise the new garage at the home of Pamela and Jeffrey Stinson in Bigelow, New York, the newspaper reported.The Stinsons fed the wet, cold and hungry girls and drove them home so they could be with family when speaking with the police, the newspaper reported.
