A method for broadcasting a pre-recorded audio stream together with a video instant replay during a live event being broadcast, comprising, recording, prior to the live event, the comments of individuals who will be participating in the live event, transferring the recorded audio stream comments to an audio bank, accessing the audio stream during the live event, synchronizing the audio stream with a video instant replay of a portion of the live event, and broadcasting the synchronized prerecorded audio stream and video instant replay.

Abstract:

Methods, systems and processor-readable media for providing instant/real-time voice alerts automatically to remote electronic devices. An activity can be detected utilizing one or more sensors. A text message indicative of the activity can be generated and converted into a digitized voice alert. The activity can also be a live utterance (e. g. , a live announcement), which can then be instantly converted into a digitized voice alert for automatic delivery in a selected series of languages following the base language (e. g. , English). The combined digitized voice alert can then be instantly transmitted through a network for broadcast of consecutive alerts (e. g. , English followed by Spanish followed by Vietnamese, etc. ) to one or more remote electronic devices that communicate with the network for an automatic audio announcement of the digitized voice alert through the one or more remote electronic devices.

Abstract:

A customized live tile application module can be configured in association with the mobile communication device in order to automatically vocalize the real-time information preselected by a user in a multitude of languages. A text-to-speech application module can be integrated with the customized live tile application module to automatically vocalize the preselected real-time information. The real-time information can be obtained from a tile and/or a website integrated with a remote server and announced after a text to speech conversion process without opening the tile, if the tiles are selected for announcement of information by the device. Such an approach automatically and instantly pushes a vocal alert with respect to the user-selected real-time information on the mobile communication device thereby permitting the user to continue multitasking. Information from tiles can also be rendered on second screens from a mobile device.

An electronic device can be synchronized with a broadcast of a live sporting event to obtain supplemental sports data over a data network from a server storing data associated with the live sporting event. Supplemental sports data is obtained from the server for display on the electronic device following a triggering activity associated with the broadcast of the live sporting event. Supplemental sports data can be transmitted for rendering on a display associated with the electronic device. Abstract:

A method and system for vocalizing user-selected sporting event scores. A customized spoken score application module can be configured in association with a device. A real-time score can be preselected by a user from an existing sporting event website for automatically vocalizing the score in a multitude of languages utilizing a speech synthesizer and a translation engine. An existing text-to-speech engine can be integrated with the spoken score application module and controlled by the application module to automatically vocalize the preselected scores listed on the sporting event site. A holder capable of holding objects, such as a hair grooming tool, or being held by objects, including an integrated camera is provided that can communicate video wirelessly (e.g., via Bluetooth™) with a smartphone that includes a video application, wireless communications, and a display screen. The display screen can be a touchscreen. The hair-grooming tool can be a comb or brush. The smartphone can include a wireless data communications, e.g., Bluetooth™ communications. During use, a video application is activated and communication is established with the remote camera associated with the hair grooming tool/holder. Then, video images from the remote camera can be displayed on the display screen. if the smartphone includes a mirror app and an integrated front camera phone, a user can switch between the smartphone camera and the hair grooming tool's integrated camera by tapping the touchscreen or a button on the smartphone that is assigned to it.
