Abstract:

A circuit of an integrated circuit for receiving video data having a plurality of data streams of pixel data and a pixel clock is disclosed. The circuit comprises a plurality of data recovery circuits, each data recovery circuit coupled to receive a corresponding data stream of the plurality of data streams and having a phase shifter generating a clock signal used to receive the data stream; and a channel deskew circuit coupled to receive the output of each data recovery circuit and the pixel clock. A method of receiving video data is also disclosed.

Abstract:

A process for fabricating thin film transistors in which the active layer is an organic semiconducting material with a carrier mobility greater than 10. sup. -3 cm. sup. 2 /Vs and a conductivity less than about 10. sup. -6 S/cm at 20. degree. C. is disclosed. The organic semiconducting material is a regioregular (3-alkylthiophene) polymer. The organic semiconducting films are formed by applying a solution of the regioregular polymer and a solvent over the substrate. The poly (3-alkylthiophene) films have a preferred orientation in which the thiophene chains has a planar stacking so the polymer backbone is generally parallel to the substrate surface.

Abstract:

Techniques for ranking members based on an influence score are described. For example, an influence score process can access, from a database in an online social network, member data of a first member in response to receiving a ranking request of the first member. Additionally, a contribution factor for each first-degree connection of the first member can be determined. A centrality score for the first member can be determined based on the contribution factor for each first-degree connection of the first member. Moreover, an expertise score for the first member can be determined based on the member data of the first member. Furthermore, an influence score of the first member can be calculated based on the centrality score and the expertise score. Subsequently, a user interface is configured to cause a presentation, on a display of a device, of the ranking of the first member based on the influence score.

Abstract:

Techniques for presenting a recommendation to a member of a social network in a specific field of study are described. A predictor can access, from a database in the social network, educational data of a plurality of students and post-graduate data of a plurality of graduates in the social network. Additionally, the predictor can determine a subset of students associated with a specific field of study, and can calculate a demand for the specific field of study based on the accessed data. A recommendation generator can calculate a competition value for the specific field of study based on the determined subset of students and the calculated demand for the specific field of study. Subsequently, the recommendation generator can cause a presentation, on a display of a device, of a recommendation associated with the specific field of study, the recommendation being based on the calculated competition value.

Abstract:

Disclosed in some examples are systems, methods, and machine-readable mediums which enhance the social networking service by providing a search functionality to allow members to search for jobs based upon their predicted applicant score or rank. Thus, a member may easily search for jobs in which the member is likely to compare favorably to others who have already applied. In order to maintain this data, the social networking service may utilize an event-driven live update architecture which allows the social networking service to manage these scores and update these scores based upon events (e.g., new job postings, new job applicants, and the like).
