Manufacturing Lead Lockheed Martin 10/86-02/05/05 Assign jobs, assist, direct and run day to day operations in building structures and final assembly of end item hardware. Interface with Engineering, Quality inspection , Planning and REE's in resolving problems whenever the need arises. Interface with engineering and planning for the right sequence to build assemblies and sub-assemblies. Make sure that shop order operations and sub-operations are bought off whenever the job is completed. Review drawings and shop orders before the start of every operation. Make sure that Ground Support Equipment and other tools are available and in date before usage. Perform first hand inspection of parts and end item hardware before installation. Check for the latest revision of all drawings, LAC specs and MPS's before starting any job. Develop shop aids when not supplied with tools when performing close tolerance work. Provides and maintains an inventory of hazardous materials on a weekly basis. Maintain the inventory of hardware and materials for fabrication and assembly of end item hardware. Provide and in depth knowledge of the relationship between part numbers, hardware and location for immediate usage. Act as back-up to Floor Supervision for all tasks and assignments. Perform safety inspection and house keeping. Certified environmental safety and hazard fall protection inspector. Order parts and materials when needed. Responsible for ensuring that all tools and equipment in our prograre all in good operating condition. Takes care of all maintenance service request in our program.
