Abstract:
A remote energy meter system and method is provided having a meter server and a client module located remotely from the meter server. The meter server communicates with the client via a wireless communications link to recover energy production parameter values. The remote energy meter system preferably provides real-time and automated monitoring of, at least, energy production and system failure parameters.

An annular air filter is rotationally mounted within a plenum box, which in turn is securely mounted to the inlet end of a gas turbine engine. At least a portion of the annular air filter surrounds the inlet end of the engine. A motor is provided to rotationally drive the air filter relative to both the plenum box and the engine. An air pressure nozzle is disposed adjacent the inner circumferential surface of the air filter, and a vacuum nozzle is disposed adjacent the outer circumferential surface thereof. The air pressure and vacuum nozzles clean the air filter as the air filter is rotated relative thereto.
A suspension system for mounting a power pack including engine, transmission, and associated equipment to the frame of a land vehicle, such as a tank. The suspension system includes static supports for substantially immovably mounting the power pack to the frame at spaced locations and at least one dynamic support for yieldably mounting the power pack. The dynamic support includes at least one vertically disposed spring member fixed to the power pack together with a linkage connecting a free end of the spring member to the frame of the land vehicle. The suspension system accommodates a range of relative movement between the power pack and the frame of the land vehicle.
A cylindrical type automotive barrier filter is adapted to be used in the inlet airflow of a gas turbine engine that is used in an agricultural aircraft. Air is drawn in through an inlet in the upper portion of the aircraft nose body without appreciable disturbance to the aerodynamic contours. The outlet of the filter is connected to a duct in a sealed relationship to direct the airflow to the engine inlet. The airflow passage is sealed by a connecting flange mounted on the filter to which the duct is connected. A longitudinally extending firewall is constructed to separate the filter and connecting duct from the turbine section of the engine. An emergency bypass door is provided to provide an inlet airflow in the event the filters become clogged. The bypass door is designed to provide particle separation of the incoming air.
