PHARMACY TECHNICIAN: Excellent customer service skills with the ability to provide outstanding customer service and managerial support. (Preparations of reports, records and inventory control. Ability to transcribe prescription orders with knowledge of key elements (Patients name, date, name of medication(s), number of doses, frequency, route of administration and signature of prescriber. Input and track patient data, and accurately fill orders according to unit-dose system. Comprehension knowledge of medical terminology, abbreviations, and drug calculations. Excellent communication skills and the sensitivity to respond to the needs of a diverse population. SECRETARY / MEDICAL OFFICE SUPPORT: Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology, abbreviations and drug calculations. Transcribe physician notes for histories/physical exams, medical chart notes, progress notes, letter transcription, miscellaneous medical reports, maintain correspondence, patient charts, tickler and departmental files. Great telephone etiquette, triage, schedule and register patients. Call in prescriptions to the pharmacy. Complete patient compliance reports, entering all meds, dosage, route of administration, bed and room. ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT INCLUDING: Provide excellent computer coverage: drafting, transcribing, typing of correspondence, accurate data entry skills. Receptionist coverage with the ability to handle a high volume of incoming calls with diplomacy. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in both oral and written form. Sort and distribute daily mail, facsimile or e-mail communications, photocopy, gather and collect incoming demographics, data researched and meeting confirmations.
