CPW said today that Thad Bingham, 44, of Fruita, killed the elk. Western Slope residents Brian Scheer, 45; Barrett Rowles, 48, and Josh Fitzsimmons, 45, also all participated in the hunt on land not open to hunting in October 2014, CPW said.
