My real estate career began in 1977 while living in California. Missing the "southern lifestyle" and my roots, I came home to my native soil, North Carolina in 2006. I've lived all over the U.S., as well as Europe and Japan. Consequently my personal experiences of relocating to new areas, first as a child, then as an adult provided me with the understanding of what's important to clients in a move. Not only are the logistics of a move important, but relocating can produce a myriad of emotions, and I know those emotions first hand. Whether you're moving across the street, across town, or across the country, my experience makes me the ideal relocation expert! I also have a background in retail furnishings and decor` as owner/operator of a full-line furniture store. My real estate background combined with my interior re-design experience gave me staging skills long before staging even had a name. I am a survivor! Being a mother of six (all grown now) helped me develop my ability to laugh at the absurd. I also learned that I could sing, dance, and negotiate a contract all at once! I'm passionate about my family, and my furbabies. I am an animal advocate. I love warm weather, water sports, good music, the works of Nicholas Sparks, and my country. I majored in Communications in college with a minor in psychology, and I am fluent in American Sign Language.
