To start the second, Yale converted an onside kick and went 49 yards to take a 14-7 lead on a 28-yard pass to Klubnik. Harvard tied it, picking up 34 yards to the Yale 2 on a fourth-and-3. Three plays later, Viviano found Ryan Halvorson in the end zone to make it 14-all.
Harvard (7-3, 5-2) managed to even things up later in the quarter, putting together a 10-play, 84-yard drive capped by a 1-yard touchdown pass from Joe Viviano to Ryan Halvorson, but the Crimson let crucial opportunities slip through their fingers.
