  • Assignee:
    Microsoft Corporation - Redmond WA
  • International Classification:
    H04L 9/00
  • US Classification:
    713168
  • Abstract:
A user interacts with a client containing personal identity information operable to identify the user to a relying party when the relying party is presented with claims comprising a portion of the personal identity information. The personal identity information includes one or more claims, metadata associated with the one or more claims, and backing data associated with the one or more claims. The user may initiate use of another client and seek to be identified by the relying party while interacting with the other client by first porting the personal identity information to the other client. Porting the personal identity information includes binding the personal identity information and sending the bound personal identity information to a receiving client.

  • International Classification:
    G01C 21/00
    G06T 7/70
    G06T 1/20
    G08G 1/01
  • Abstract:
Systems and methods for vehicle-based determination of HD map update information. Sensor-equipped vehicles may determine locations of various detected objects relative to the vehicles. Vehicles may also determine the location of reference objects relative to the vehicles, where the location of the reference objects in an absolute coordinate system is also known. The absolute coordinates of various detected objects may then be determined from the absolute position of the reference objects and the locations of other objects relative to the reference objects. Newly-determined absolute locations of detected objects may then be transmitted to HD map services for updating.

  • US Patent:
    20190362094, Nov 28, 2019
  • Filed:
    Aug 8, 2019
  • Appl. No.:
    16/536135
  • Inventors:
    - Redmond WA, US
David J. Brennan - Redmond WA, US
Vidyaraman Sankaranarayanan - Bellevue WA, US
Ruchita Bhargava - Redmond WA, US
Roberto Sonnino - Seattle WA, US
  • Assignee:
Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLC - Redmond WA
  • International Classification:
    G06F 21/62
  • Abstract:
A natural language query can be received at a main natural language processor inside a data protection compliance boundary in a computer system. The natural language query can be processed via the main natural language processor. The data from the query can be transmitted to a data protection computer component. It can be determined via the data protection component whether the data from the query includes protected data whose transmission to a computerized extension would violate a computer-readable data protection rule. The extension is outside the compliance boundary in the computer system and is configured to participate in responding to natural language queries received by the main natural language processor. In response to determining that the data from the query includes the protected data, transmission of the protected data from the main natural language processor to the extension as part of responding to the query can be inhibited.

Microsoft Technology Licensing, LLC - Redmond WA
  • International Classification:
    G06F 17/30
    G06N 7/00
    G06F 17/27
  • Abstract:
A natural language query can be processed via a main natural language processor. A request to produce an intent of the query can be dispatched from the main natural language processor to an extension natural language processor. An intent of the query can be generated via the extension natural language processor in response to the dispatched request, with the generating of the intent being performed independently of the main natural language processor. The intent of the natural language query can be passed from the extension natural language processor to the main natural language processor in response to the request to produce the intent of the query. A selection of a conversation query processor for responding to the intent can be produced via the main natural language processor. Additionally, an instruction to respond to the intent of the query can be passed to the selected conversation query processor.

    DJORDJE NIJEMCEVIC - BELGRADE, RS
    MILAN VUGDELIJA - BELGRADE, RS
  • International Classification:
    G06F 17/28
  • Abstract:
The technology described herein employs techniques for overlaying (superimposing) translated text on top of (over) scanned text in realtime. The technology recognizes text in an image and identifies a first language in which the text is written. The technology translates the text into a second language and generates an overlay in the second language. The overlay is then inserted into the display over the text in the image.

  • International Classification:
    H04W 4/02
    H04W 4/12
  • Abstract:
Mobile devices provide a variety of techniques for presenting messages from sources to a user. However, when the message pertains to the presence of the user at a location, the available communications techniques may exhibit deficiencies, e.g., reliance on the memory of the source and/or user of the existence and content of a message between its initiation and the user's visit to the location, or reliance on the communication accessibility of the user, the device, and/or the source during the user's location visit. Presented herein are techniques for enabling a mobile device, at a first time, to receive a request to present an audio message during the presence of the user at a location; and, at a second time, detecting the presence of the user at the location, and presenting the audio message to the user, optionally without awaiting a request from the user to present the message.

    G06F 17/28
  • Abstract:
Architecture that employs techniques for overlaying (superimposing) translated text on top of (over) scanned text in realtime translation to provide clear visual correlation between original text and translated text. Algorithms are provided that overlay text in cases of translated scanned text of language written in first direction to a language written in same direction, translate scanned text from a first language written in a first direction to a second language written in the opposite direction, and translated scanned text from a language written in a first direction to language written in a different direction.
