Abstract:

A timer () is provided having a housing () sized and shaped to support a conventional lamp thereon. The timer () also has a storage chamber () extending from the peripheral side wall () and an electric circuit (). The electric circuit () includes a conventional electric power cord () terminating at a male plug (), a female electric plug receptacle () positioned to be accessed through the storage chamber (), and a controller () which controls the electric current passing from the power cord () to the female receptacle (). This construction allows a lamp to be placed directly upon the timer () to enable easy access to the power controlling timer ().

Abstract:

A wireless timer system () is shown including a master unit () and multiple remote modules (). The master unit communicates with the slave units through a RF signal. The master unit includes a control circuit for controlling the activation of the remote modules during at least one designated activation time period having a commencement time and a termination time. The designated activation time period including a plurality of on/off cycles. The control circuit changes the selection of which remote module to activate first upon each occurrence of reaching the designated activation time period. The control circuit may also include a variable time range associated with the activation time period. The control circuit may change the commencement time each day to a time within the variable time range from the commencement time.

Abstract:

An RF remote control system for operating a ceiling fan and its light is disclosed. The remote control system comprises a receiver and two remote controllers, each having different operating characteristics. The remote controllers use radio frequency (RF) transmission to send control signals to the receiver. The receiver utilizes a microprocessor to process the control signals from the remote controllers and to operate the ceiling fan and its light. The receiver also includes a power interruption feature, which allows the operation of the ceiling fan light without the use of the remote controllers.
