A multipurpose asphalt processor and method for repairing damaged asphalt. The asphalt processor may be used to both till and screed asphalt surfaces. The asphalt processor may include a powered shaft having a plurality of tines extending therefrom. The outermost tines on the shaft may be angled to thereby form a beveled surface along the edges of tilled area of asphalt. The asphalt processor may further include a screed for leveling tilled asphalt. The asphalt processor may take the form of an attachment for use with existing machinery, such as a tractor.

A modular anchor with a compressible spring member that permits its easy retrieval from the floor onto which the anchor became stuck. This retrieval is accomplished by merely pulling the anchor cable, the integrity of the cable being preserved as a consequence of the yielding of a spring member that is part of the modular anchor. The spring member compresses when it is subjected to sufficient pressure. The modular anchor may be disassembled to be carried in a bag with other elements useful for fastening a boat to shore. The anchor preferably has a fluke in the form of a plow or plowshare fluke.
A modular anchor with a stress sensitive shank that permits its easy retrieval from the floor onto which the anchor became stuck. This retrieval is accomplished by merely pulling the anchor cable, the integrity of the cable being preserved as a consequence of the yielding of a shear pin that is part of the modular anchor. The shear pin breaks when it is subjected to a stress that satisfies a certain limit condition. The modular anchor may be disassembled to be carried in a bag with other elements useful for fastening a boat to shore. The anchor preferably has a fluke in the form of a plow or plowshare fluke.

Abstract:
A scanning fingerprint reader provides a set of digital data representing interface topology of a fingerprint pressed against a platen (20). The platen (20) is formed by one surface of a prism (10) utilizing total internal reflection of an illuminating beam (30) directed at an interior surface of the prism. The beam (37) that is output from the prism is fed through a scanning lens (40) to a scanning mirror (48) that causes the fingerprint image (68) to scan across a linear array (60) of CCD sensors that is repetitively sampled to provide a print readout of the entire surface of the prism for reading a slap print. The signal from the CCD array is read out and digitized (72,74,76) to provide a serial bit stream (78) representing the set of multiple fingerprints on the platen. An optical architecture (40,48,56) employing dual telecentricity eliminates keystoning distortion. A portion of the beam is sent to a linear CCD array (94) of a roll print camera to provide an estimate of the position of the line of contact of the finger during its rolling motion over the platen.
A composition that may include a resin, plastic aggregate, plastic fines, and optionally fly ash. The plastic aggregates and plastic fines may be formed from recycled plastic. The composition may be utilized to repair damaged surfaces, including damages concrete surfaces. The composition may further be used in pre-formed structures. The pre-formed structures may include panels that are assembled to form an upright enclosure, such as a shelter.
System And Method For Repairing Damaged Portions Of A Concrete Surface
A method of repairing a damaged portion of a roadway comprises cutting around the damaged portion using a circular saw blade to form cut lines that include overcut portions and angled intersections. Using a grinder, or some other tool, a user removes the overcut portions and angled intersections formed by the cut lines to form a smooth and contiguous edge around the damaged portion. The damaged portion is filled a repair material, such as a polymer resin.
