Abstract:The invention comprises a crutch and carrier assembly including a crutch having a top and a bottom portion and a pair of parallel side rails between the top and the bottom portion, with the side rails being spaced apart at a predetermined distance, and a carrier assembly including an elastic annulus having a inner circumference in its unstretched state, with the inner circumference being less than twice the distance around the side rails. The annulus is positioned to grippingly encircle the side rails. In one embodiment the crutch and carrier assembly further comprises a plurality of elastic annuli, each grippingly encircling the side rails.
