Abstract:
The present invention is directed towards a method and system for automating workflow. The method and system includes receiving data from a portable identification key communicatively coupled to a processing device to initiate automation processes. The profile information comprised in the data is accessed, the profile information including an identification of a user associated with the portable identification key. The method and system further includes retrieving one or more instructions and parameters associated with the identified user by the processing device to initiate an automated workflow session, and initiating the automated workflow session according to the one or more instructions and parameters.
A modem having at least two modem protocols, a slow full duplex protocol and a fast half duplex protocol, for use of either depending on a received rate of data. A modem for switching between a plurality of protocols for data transmission and reception. The modem capable of switching between a fast and a slow protocol depending on the received rate of data. The received rate of data determined by measuring received amounts of data during predetermined time intervals. Alternatively, the received data rate determined by measuring an amount of data stored in a memory. The modem capable of full duplex interactive operation and 9600 BPS data transfers in a seamless manner. The modem operable with streaming error correction protocols. Also, described is a method for communication of data between at least two modems each capable of operating at a plurality of data rates. Also, described is a system for communication of binary data comprising a binary data source and a modem.
System And Method For Digital Media Content Creation And Distribution
A method and system for providing on-site content delivery and on-demand content access. The method comprising recording digital media content on a DMR device, managing distribution of the digital media content to one or more remote devices, automatically distributing the digital media content to the one or more remote devices, the distributed digital media content configured for local hosting at the one or more remote devices, and monitoring consumption of the digital media content distributed to the one or remote devices.
