Abstract:
A system and methods based thereon for a Value Chain Intelligence (VCI) system that enables suppliers and procurement professionals to leverage enterprise and marketplace data in order to potentially improve decision-making in business enterprises. In this system, internal data from enterprises and external data from suppliers, catalogs, and marketplaces are integrated and analyzed in real time for their impact on supply chains processes. The VCI system makes recommendations and alerts users based on the results of the integrated and analyzed data. Components in a VCI system may consist of internal data collection components, external data collection components, data integration components, and data application components. The system provides a plurality of methods for searching, extracting, transforming, integrating, analyzing, and representing data internal to an enterprise and data external to an enterprise. Various methods for implementing a plurality of software modules in a logical workflow process are also disclosed.

Abstract:
Systems and methods can include one or more processing modules and one or more non-transitory storage modules storing computing instructions configured to run on the one or more processing modules and perform acts of: estimating demand for one or more items in an electronic basket of items using one or more different demand models; estimating elasticity for the one or more items in the electronic basket of items using a multi-armed bandit model; determining a price using the demand and the elasticity; and facilitating display of the price on a video screen of a device. Other embodiments are disclosed herein.

Abstract:
Systems and methods including one or more processing modules and one or more non-transitory storage modules storing computing instructions configured to run on the one or more processing modules and perform acts of calculating a halo weight for at least one item of a set of items, where the halo weight can comprise an effect sales of the at least one item has on sales of the set of items; calculating an item-wise elasticity for the at least one item; calculating a line-wise elasticity for the at least one item of the set of items; calculating an aggregate elasticity for the at least one item using the item-wise elasticity and the line-wise elasticity; calculating a demand forecast for the at least one item of the set of items; optimizing an objective function comprising the halo weight, the aggregate elasticity, the demand forecast, and at least one external constraint; adjusting at least one price of the at least one item based on the objective function, as optimized; and displaying the at least one price, as adjusted, on a display device. Other embodiments are disclosed herein.
