The Weather Services Neil Dixon said computer guidance indicates waves of heavy rainfall will occur east of the I-85 corridor, with the greatest amounts expected across the southern Charlotte metro area late Friday.
Weather service forecaster Neil Dixon said Laurens County could receive 2 inches of snow Tuesday while Greenwood and Union counties could get 3 inches. Areas along the South Carolina-North Carolina line likely will get no more than half an inch, he said.
