Addivinola finished with 4,759 or 49 percent of the GOP votes. Hollistons Mike Stopa came in second with 2,477 votes or 26 percent, and Framinghams Tom Tierney trailed close behind with 2,456 votes, or 25 percent.

Katherine Clark wins Massachusetts special primary
Clark will face GOP businessman Frank Addivinola, who won the Republican primary in a three-way race over physicist Mike Stopa and actuary and former congressional candidate Tom Tierney, in the Dec. 10 general election.
