Description:
Hello, my name is Michelle Taylor. I am a native of Pinellas County, Florida and have watched the cities and Gulf beaches grow from small towns to big cities. Growing up here brought many happy memories. Even now with the size of the city as well as the county, there are still those family memories to make. My family and I left the state for a few years to live in my husbands home state of West Virginia, and with his support I completed my bachelor's degree in elementary education. With teaching jobs scarce in West Virginia, we decided to move to North Carolina, where I taught for 10 years. I returned to school in North Carolina and completed my master's degree in elementary education. This enabled me to enjoy the children and the time with my children while they were still small. They are now grown; one is married, just received her master's in education and is a teacher in North Carolina. My youngest graduated in 2013 and is attending college heading towards the medical field. My stepdaughter is also completing her degree in elementary education. My husband has a rare illness and I knew the day would come when our roles would switch, and I would need to support my family. It is my way of giving back to my husband for all the hard work he spent driving a tractor-trailer over the road for 11 years. Now that he is disabled, my goal is to make our life easier. I have bought and sold many homes over the years moving around Clearwater, Largo, and Dunedin as well as West Virginia and North Carolina. I have always enjoyed the excitement of looking at different homes and finding the right one. This fueled my desire to become a real estate agent and help others sell and/or buy that just right home for them. Coming from a family who built homes in the past, and my father holding a real estate license and working for the Department of Housing and Urban Development I found it interesting to see the variety of sizes, shapes and the many other amenities in homes. The most important one though is the one that fits the needs of those I am working with, that just right home for your family. Although I am new to the business, I am not new to what a home means to someone. Beginning in the business and forming relationships is the toughest obstacle to overcome. However, I know my background will help me to relate to my clients because I have been through the beginning, the middle, and the empty nest of owning homes. I love helping see the potential that a home can bring to a family. One thing I have on my side, as my family will attest to, is that I make friends easily. It interests me to talk to people and find out about who they are, where they are from and where they are going. I carry on conversations and get to know people; for example, I'll call for cable hook up, or phone problems, and talk to the person like I've known them all my life. When I'm done I have made a new friend, even if only for a moment or two. As a teacher, I always had parent requests for their other children to be in my classroom. Every mom and dad was as important to me as was his or her child. As I continue my new journey in real estate with Century 21 Beggins, I am here to help you and in return you help me fulfill my desire to be the agent you will remember and refer your friends and family, so I can make new friends and fulfill their desires for that just right home, no matter the circumstances, I will be there.
