An archers silent running roller guide is taught. The roller guide Is rendered silent by providing a v-shaped arrow guide wherein the v-shape is formed by the outer perimeters of two low inertia silent running roller bearings with a sound-muffling material wrapping the outer perimeter of the bearings. The v-shaped guide acting in cooperation with a coil spring serves to respond to the forces of displacement present at the instant the arrow is launched and to return the guide to its original position after the arrow is gone.
