Skills:
* Excellent language skills including writing, editing, prose analysis were of primary importance throughout my education and especially during the thesis writing process. * Communication was also a cornerstone of my education. Since the most prominent career undertaken by music majors is in the educational field it follows that emphasis was placed on developing these skills. * Diverse experience with computers: familiarity with a multitude of platforms and programs including the use of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, composition programs, various archival databases, and so on. Also, I am experienced in diagnosing and repairing of both software and hardware issues. * Mathematics was an integral part of my study of modern music, music theory, and analysis. The ability to memorize and properly utilize lengthy equations is a necessity in my field. * Organization skills were honed during my years as an undergraduate and particularly as a learning assistant.
