Abstract:

[Problem] Information communication cannot be performed through a system with high-level security installing such as firewall, and it is not possible to construct an information management system which allows seamless access to information from inside/outside of an intranet. [Means to Solve the Problem] A system control apparatus is provided to an intranet for managing groupware information and files. A service site is provided to an Internet A file duplication daemon is provided to each of clients and The file duplication daemon in cooperation with the system control apparatus transfers data of the client to disk resources of the intranet or the Internet as a file. Further, the system control apparatus in cooperation with the service site synchronizes groupware information. Accordingly, seamless access to the information can be accomplished from both inside and outside of the intranet.
