Abstract:
A method and system are presented for identifying improper benefit payments to an ineligible beneficiary. Record data may be accessed from a financial institution and may be analyzed to identify patterns within the banking transactions. Deviations may be identified between a pre-benefit pattern and a post-benefit pattern by applying one or more rules, which may be ranked. The deviations that are identified may be determined to be either in compliance, in noncompliance, or within some acceptable level of compliance. A level of noncompliance outside of a range of acceptable noncompliance may result in generating a request for an action to be taken, such as an audit of the beneficiary. The aforementioned methods may be carried out using a computerized device.

Method And System For Job-Placement Of Disabled Workers
A method and system useful in creating long-term job opportunities for disabled and blind individuals who wish to work on a government contract that will be, or has been, awarded to a private sector company includes providing a not for profit staffing service with a work force performing direct labor that includes at least seventy-five percent disabled or blind individuals. The not for profit staffing service is informed either directly or through the NIB or NISH agencies of various types of potential job opportunities for the future or of actual, current job opportunities involving work to be performed under the government contract. The not for profit staffing service then informs disabled and blind individuals of the potential or of the actual job opportunities and accepts their applications. Once the contract has been awarded, the not for profit staffing service refers, or assists in the referral of, at least some of the disabled applicants to an appropriate contact person of the private-sector company that has been awarded the contract. The applicants that are to be hired are hired as employees of the not for profit staffing service who perform work at or for the private-sector company.

Distance Delivery Of Vocational Services Coupled With Shared Payments From Third Party Payers
Vocational/employment services and supports delivered via distance methods such as an Internet-based information and support system, offer greater efficiency, convenience and depth and breadth of information than vocational services provided by conventional face-to-face delivery methods. In addition, such distance delivered services can be provided at a much lower cost than services provided via face-to-face meetings. The resulting cost savings make it possible for the provider of services to share with the consumer of services a substantial percentage of the payment that the provider receives from a third party payer. When payment from the third party payer is contingent upon the consumer achieving predetermined employment related goals, then a shared third party payment arrangement gives the consumer added incentive to achieve those goals and added reason to choose the provider using this method over others.
