Trained as a military doctor at Walter Reed, and currently help vetrans heal from PTSD from our current wars, finished a Psychiatric Residency at Yale School of Medicine, completed a Substance Abuse Fellowship, also at Yale, and have a joyful marriage to April of 29 yrs. One of our biggest jobs together is to advocate for A Safe Haven, a program in Chicago that has helped 36,000 people move from homelessness to self sufficiency in the last 16 yrs., founded by Brian and Neli Rowland, and to teach 15 third graders in St. Peters church on Capitol Hill learn to hear from God, and find Jesus in their hearts and at Mass.
