Proven record of being able to independently plan, develop and carry out continuing business and recreation operations and programs in for-profit, non-profit and governmental organizations. Successfully identified and presented budget planning; programming documentation and proposals for appropriated and non-appropriated funds through the chain of command to major claimant for a fifteen year period of time and successfully continued the practice with Boys & Girls Clubs. Carefully managed the many different and unrelated processes, methods and procedures relating to a mid-size to metro, highly diversified recreation program in the interest of efficiency and effectiveness. Ability to responsibly make decisions regarding the planning, implementation and administration of the multiple activities within the available resources; interpreting considerable data relating to programs, trends, costs, problems and needs; and refining or modifying of program methods and techniques for best results. Knowledge of and ability to interpret BUPERS, DOD, DON regulations, instructions, policies and guidelines including MWR Special Services Manual, local directives regarding Station policy and regulations and numerous higher-level directives pertaining to Navy publicity, advertising and printing, alcoholic beverage control, NAF and APF personnel management, funding procedures and management, CWRA and MWR activities including commercial sponsorship as well of BGCA and BGCSA policies and procedures, guidelines and directive. Extensive experience in serving as a liaison with local private organizations, special emphasis groups, tenant commands, and the general public, indoctrination for incoming military personnel, reservists and student pilots on and enlisted station tours. I also have experience in coordinating, designing and administering surveys and needs assessments as well as documenting demographic data to determine what types of programs will meet the needs of the patrons and continue the practice for Boys & Girls Clubs. Knowledge of and practical experience in Windows operating systems. Highly proficient in MS Works, MS Word, MS Publisher, MS PowerPoint, Excel, MS Outlook, Quicken, Quick Books, and a various software programs for use in operations, marketing and desk-top publishing. Ability to develop, prepare and submit various written and visual informational materials of departmental events and facility activities and notices, such as briefs, presentations, indoctrinations, as well as, brochures, placards, banners, bill boards, photographs, press releases and the total production of marketing tools such as guides including the design and distribution of written informational and promotion material. Proficient in the use of the internet, on-line social media, search engines, etc., as work related resources. I have the ability to use various types of clip-art programs, as well as experience with building and maintaining spreadsheet, databases, forms, etc., including experience in the use of various computer brands.
