Gloucester HarborWalk Public Art semi-finalist Gloucester Committee for the Arts I worked in collaboration with an artist to propose five separate installations along the HarborWalk to offer glimpses of African American history in Gloucester. These were based on historical documents found in the Gloucester City Archives, Cape Ann Museum Archives, and through other institutions. We also proposed a digital component to add context. There were 15 semi-finalists from a national field of over 170.
