Abstract:

The preferred embodiments described herein provide a method and system for handling complex inter-dependencies between imaging mode parameters in a medical imaging system. In one preferred embodiment, a behavior engine comprises a plurality of behavior objects interconnected by parameters with at least one of the parameters being circularly dependent. A static list of the behavior objects and the dependent parameters is generated. After an input to the medical imaging system causes one parameter to change values, a dynamic list of behavior objects dependent on the changed parameter is generated. Further, an iterative process of processing the behavior objects in the dynamic list, determining whether any output parameters from the processed behavior objects have changed, adding behavior objects to the dynamic list which are dependent on the changed parameter outputs, and removing the processed behavior objects from the dynamic list is performed. The iterative process may be performed until the dynamic list does not contain any behavior objects.

Abstract:

Two different operating systems, such as one using Windows real-time extensions and another using Windows NT or other non-real-time operating system, may be implemented on a same system or hardware, such as being co-located on a same processor, without changing client software. Two or more software processes are run on a same processor or system. The software or operating systems communicate using a socket application programming interface. The use of socket communications allows the processes to communicate as if the processes were on different systems. Socket communications between the two operating systems are intercepted by the layered service provider before being provided to the hardware for external transport. The socket communications are re-routed to the socket stack of the destination operating system. The socket communication using sockets is transparent to the application or middleware layer software. By providing for socket communications between two co-located operating systems, the implementation cost and development risk caused by using a shared memory may be avoided.

Abstract:

A security-type garment hanger capable of being attached against removal to a rack or similar support and capable of preventing a garment from being removed from the hanger. The coat hanger includes a metal bar which fits on the underside of one of a pair of inclined shoulder supporting members which are joined at their upper ends. The bar has an upper part which projects upwardly from the junction of the shoulder supporting members, the upper part providing a threaded stud capable of being attached to any one of a number of various types of racks. The other end of the metal bar has fastened to it a length of chain or other type of flexible member. In one embodiment, the free end of the chain is passed through the sleeve of a garment and looped up from the bottom of the garment through its interior and padlocked to the chain near the point where the chain is fastened to the metal bar. In another embodiment, a pair of rigid disks larger in diameter than the maximum transverse dimension of a buttonhole of the garment are padlocked to the length of chain after the disks are placed on opposite sides of the buttonhole so as to capture the fabric between them in a sandwich-like fashion.

A memory module includes cache of relatively fast and durable dynamic, random-access memory (DRAM) in service of a larger amount of relatively slow and wear-sensitive nonvolatile memory. Abstract:

A memory module comprises an address buffer circuit, a command/address channel, and a plurality of memory components controlled by the address buffer circuit via the command/address channel. At least one memory component comprises a plurality of data ports, a memory core to store data, and a data interface. The data interface is capable of transferring data between the memory core and the data ports. The data interface supports a first data width mode in which the data interface transfers data at a first bit width and a first burst length via the data ports. The data interface also supports a second data width mode in which the data interface transfers data at a second bit width and second burst length via the data ports. The first bit width is greater than the second bit width and the first burst length is shorter than the second burst length.

The embodiments described herein describe technologies of dynamic random access memory (DRAM) components for high-performance, high-capacity registered memory modules, such as registered dual in-line memory modules (RDIMMs). One DRAM component may include a set of memory cells and steering logic. The steering logic may include a first data interface and a second data interface. The first and second data interfaces are selectively coupled to a controller component in a first mode and the first data interface is selectively coupled to the controller component in a second mode and the second data interface is selectively coupled to a second DRAM component in the second mode.

Abstract:

Memory devices, controllers and associated methods are disclosed. In one embodiment, a memory device is disclosed. The memory device includes storage cells that are each formed with a metal-oxide-semiconductor (MOS) transistor having a floating body. Data is stored as charge in the floating body. A transfer interface receives a read command to access data stored in a first group of the storage cells. Sensing circuitry detects the data stored in the first group of storage cells. The transfer interface selectively performs a writeback operation of the sensed data associated with the read command.

In one embodiment, an integrated circuit (IC) memory component is disclosed that includes a memory core, a primary interface, and a secondary interface.
