I was never able to have children. I have 2 wonderful nieces, and some extended family that I am so blessed to have. I have recently caught up with some friends from almost 35! years ago. I thought everyone had left town after high school and college. They are mostly still there! I have kept up with the "lifer's", the ones that I was closest to. I love my family, and we are all very close. My husbands family is the same way, and they get along so well-it is amazing! I love them very mush as well. We only had a small family growing up-compared to our Catholic community! To have less than 5 children in mostly Cathlolic Baltimore was unheard of. I used to cry for more brothers and sisters. I lost my awesome little brother in 1981-which I almost did not survive. The thing that saved me was my parents prayers,God, and my work ethic. I lost what I thought was the love of my life at the same time-and really did not know why I was not the choosen to go--But only the Godd die young---Do not like that song-but there is some truth to that saying..in my case!
