An apparatus for mounting two speakers to a flat panel display device is disclosed wherein the device, utilizing standardized mounting plates provided in such flat panel display devices, enables the mounting of two speakers while providing the ability to change speaker position in regards to six different position parameters. The apparatus may be utilized in conjunction with flat panel mounting devices, such as pedestal, wall or ceiling mounts, or utilized independently thereof. More specifically, the device further provides independent adjustment of the position of each speaker mounted thereby in regard to height, fore/aft and depth position, as well as rotation about an X, Y and Z axis. The device enables one to make changes in—regard to the position of a speaker—or other peripheral devices mounted thereon—relative to one or more of the aforementioned movements without altering other aspects of speaker position, if desired.
System And Method For Client-Side Authenticaton For Secure Internet Communications
A system and method for client-side authentication for secure Internet communications is disclosed. In one embodiment, an intermediate device receives a web browser secure socket layer certificate from a web browser, authenticates the web browser using the secure socket layer certificate, and then re-signs the secure socket layer certificate with an intermediate device public key and an intermediate device certificate authority signature. The intermediate device sends the re-signed secure socket layer certificate to a web server and the web server authenticates the intermediate device using the re-signed secure socket layer certificate. In another embodiment, an intermediate device receives a web browser secure socket layer certificate from a web browser, inserts the web browser secure socket layer certificate into a HTTP header of a packet, and sends the packet to a web server.
Flat Panel Speaker Mounting System With Remote Operation
An apparatus apparatus for mounting two speakers to a flat panel display device is disclosed which engages standardized mounting plates formed in such displays. The apparatus may be utilized with flat panel mounting devices, such as pedestal, wall or ceiling mounts. The apparatus provides adjustments of the position of each speaker mounted in regard to height, fore/aft and depth position, as well as rotation about an X, Y and Z axis. The apparatus enables changes relative to one or more of the aforementioned adjustments without altering other aspects of speaker position. A second alternate preferred embodiment of the disclosed mounting device provides remote actuation and locking of a pivot joint and, a sliding joint.
