Assignee:
Rochester Gauges, Inc. - Dallas TX
International Classification:
G01F 2832
US Classification:
73317, 73290 R, 324200, 32420722
Abstract:
A float-type liquid level gauge assembly is provided for measuring the level of a liquid in a tank. The liquid level gauge includes a gear housing for efficiently coupling the gears and accurately assembling and aligning certain components; a movable pivot arm assembly supporting a float arm assembly; and a gear on the pivot arm assembly coupled with a pinion gear located in the gear housing. The pinion gear has a shaped passageway which accepts a similarly shaped drive shaft. A single piece magnetic cap, which defines a bore correspondingly shaped to accept the shaped drive shaft such that it will not rotate relative to the drive shaft, is installed on the drive shaft. The drive shaft and the magnetic cap each include a positioning feature, such that when the positioning feature of the drive shaft engages the positioning feature of the magnetic cap, the magnetic cap is properly aligned with a magnet in a dial assembly. A float arm with an attached float assembly can be adapted to act as both the float arm and the counterweight for counter-balancing the float assembly.
Foldable Transportable Multiple Function Pilates Exercise Method And Apparatus

Abstract:
A multi-function Pilates exercise apparatus featuring a foldable frame, a wheeled base, a rotatable pulley riser with a flexible pulley mount, gear changing apparatus and adjustable footbar. The frame is designed to fold into an upright position and to be rolled to a desired location. The pulley mount includes a section of flexible cable which permits the pulley to freely move relative to its mounting pole, thereby reducing binding during operation. The gear changing apparatus permits the user to adjust the carriage position with a single operation. The exercise system includes a reformer, pole apparatus, and a long/short box that also serves as a chair.

Abstract:
Devices for holding paper, cards, and/or wallets. One device has a clip with two ends and a leverage bump; and an arm pivotally coupled to each end. One of the arms contacts the leverage bump when the clip is opened. Another device includes a clip having a receiving portion and a holding portion. The receiving portion includes an arch. The holding portion includes two ends. An arm is pivotally coupled to each end. Other devices are included.

Removable Ion Source That Does Not Require Venting Of The Vacuum Chamber
A method and apparatus of combining an ion volume, a lens stack, and an ion optic that similarly cooperates with a detached multipole ion guide is herein incorporated into a single sub-assembly that can be removed from a mass spectrometer instrument without venting. Such an arrangement allows an operator to clean all parts of the ion path that get contaminated in normal operation, reassemble and reinsert in a timely manner and then pump down to an acceptable vacuum without having to vent the system.

Abstract:
A float-type liquid level gauge assembly is provided for measuring the level of a liquid, such as liquefied petroleum gases, in a tank. The liquid level gauge includes a gear housing which provides for an efficient way to couple gears together as well as to accurately assemble and align the components of a liquid level gauge. The liquid level gauge includes a movable pivot arm assembly supporting a float arm assembly A gear on the pivot arm assembly is coupled with a pinion gear located in the gear housing The pinion gear has a shaped passageway which accepts a similarly shaped drive shaft which has a magnet at one end. The magnet extends into a passageway on the lower side of a gauge head so as to be magnetically coupled to a level indicating dial assembly provided on the upper side of the gauge head The shaped drive shaft only allows for a limited number of ways the drive shaft will fit into the pinion gear passageway thus allowing efficient alignment of the magnet with the level indicating dial
