Case count at 260 in outbreak tied to restaurant in upstate NY
Golden Ponds Restaurant in the Rochester suburb of Greece, NY, is believed to have served 800 to 1,100 meals on Thanksgiving Day, Monroe County Health Department spokesman John Ricci told the Democrat & Chronicle newspaper.
More than 80 people have spoken to the Monroe County Health Department about becoming ill after eating at Golden Ponds on Thanksgiving, said spokesman John Ricci. Those people reported the illnesses of others within their party, bringing the total to more than260.
