Abstract:
The present invention is directed to an apparatus and a method of game play for an amusement game wherein participants attempt to project a game piece into a receptacle and may include a game piece adapted to be projected by the at least one participant, a plurality of game figures, and a game base. The game base may include a plurality of first receptacles disposed in an upper surface of the game base, and each first receptacle may be adapted to receive one of the game figures and to retain the corresponding figure alternately in an upwardly extended position and in a retracted position, and may also include a second receptacle adapted to receive the game piece. Each of the plurality of game figures may be adapted to engage the corresponding one of the plurality of first receptacles when the game figure is disposed in the upwardly extended position such that the game figure may disengage from the corresponding one of the plurality of first receptacles and move to the retracted position when the game figure is impacted by the projected game piece.

Abstract:
A toy system with a body part insertable into a self-supported opening in a separate plastic piece self-supportable on a surface. The part frictionally engaging the piece with a protrusion projecting from one of the part or piece. Another part fits into the opening without engaging the piece and telescopes against a spring into the part engaging and picking up the piece upon release of the spring. An audible sound is produced upon inserting the part, releasing the spring, or both. Attaching the piece onto the part is done by placing the piece on a surface, positioning the biased parts over the opening with the lower proximate and pointed toward the opening, pushing down on the upper telescoping it over the lower and inserting the upper into the opening, then releasing the bias to move the two parts apart with the piece picked up by and retained on the upper.

Abstract:
A toy vehicle and a handheld pneumatic launcher combination includes a piston and an elongated hollow cylinder with a flange adjacent one end of the cylinder providing grips for a child which simulate an airplane control yoke. While supporting lateral extensions of the flange with the fingers of each hand, the child's thumbs are free to press upon an actuator at one end of the piston forcing the piston head into the cylinder. Attached at the other end of the elongated cylinder, in pneumatic communication with the cylinder, is a launch tube that fits into a socket adjacent the bottom of a toy vehicle that is made predominantly of a lightweight plastic foam. The axis of the launch tube is preferably offset from the axis of the cylinder. In addition, the launch tube is tapered and has a closed end with perforations through the sidewalls of the tube adjacent the closed end.
