A drain closure apparatus for closing a storm drain, or other type of drain, in a fluid-tight manner so as to prevent a flow of hazardous materials into the drain. The closure member comprises a first cover member having an outside diameter and a peripheral edge which corresponds to the outside diameter and peripheral edge of an existing drain cover member covering a drain to enable seating and supporting the first cover member in the drain in place of the existing drain cover member, a second cover member in a hole provided therefor in the center of the first cover member, said second cover member having holes in the top thereof so as to permit a flow of fluid through the second cover member and into the drain, a closure member, and a threaded rod for moving the closure member between a first position and a second position as the second cover member is rotated to selectively close the drain in a fluid-tight manner.

Abstract:
A method for thermal fluid injection into a plurality of strata wherein a well is packed off to establish a first and a second zone. A first tubing string is introduced and is terminated in the first zone. The first tubing string is paralleled by a second tubing string. The first and second tubing strings are physically separated. A first fluid at a first temperature is injected into the first tubing string while a second fluid at a second temperature is simultaneously injected into the second tubing string. The first fluid at the first temperature is applied to the first zone while the second fluid at the second temperature is applied to the second zone.
A storm drain precursor screen comprising a perforated tray with a frame configured to capture and remove debris and trash from stormwater runoff that occurs during a wet weather event. The storm drain precursor screen is configured to fit within the physical geometry of each storm drain intake. Where a shoulder is not provided in a storm drain collection box, additional supports may be bolted or anchored into the walls of the collection box to support the precursor screen.
