Abstract:

Marketing and sales promotion support is provided to a plurality of participating brick and mortar establishments by maintaining on a server a database of customers' shopping behavior. When a customer enters the premises of one of those establishments, promotional offerings are pushed from the server to a wireless mobile device, such as a smartphone, in the possession of the customer, the content of the offerings being determined from information in the database related to the customer's prior shopping behavior. The customer behavior during the current visitation is used to update the database information related to him.

Abstract:

Methods and systems are described herein for fluid handling and dispensing liquid substances using vaporization or nebulization in a controlled, safe manner. A dispensing device may be configured to receive one or more cartridges storing different types of vaporizable or nebulizable substances. A controller may be provided to regulate the amount of a given substance dispensed over a defined time period. Optionally, in response to detecting tampering of the dispensing device and/or a liquid cartridge the dispensing device may be disabled and/or a liquid stored in a substance cartridge may be rendered inert.
