Traina Scholar Program
Clark University
The Traina Scholar Program recognizes students who showed strong academic acheivement in high school and indicated a strong interest in the math and sciences. Traina Scholars have the opportunity to receive a stipend in exchange for 10 weeks of summer research on campus, which usually occurs between their junior and senior year.
Making a Difference Scholar Program
Clark University
The Making a Difference Scholars, or MADs, showed a strong commitment to commnity engagment and volunteering. This program is designed to encourage continued and increased community involvement and leadership through volunteering opportunities and the opportunity for a local summer internship. Additionally, each year MADs lead three of Clark's major community oriented events: Spread the Word to End the Word, The Jonas Clark Stairathon, and Just Do It Day.
