In response to a user enrolling in a service capability associated with a mobile device, the process utilizes a visual identifier to associate the service capability with the customer account, the service and the mobile device. The system allocates a visual identifier for each service capability and enables customer service agents to identify the service capability and mobile device, verify the user and retrieve information for the service interaction.

    Systems and methods for managing merchant-stored payment credentials are disclosed. In one embodiment, in a financial institution backend comprising at least one computer processor, a method for managing merchant-stored payment credentials may include: () receiving, from a customer and in a first user interface, a selection of a merchant that is eligible for financial instrument pushing; () opening a second user interface with the selected merchant, wherein the login credentials for the merchant are received from the customer in the second user interface; () receiving, from the customer and in the first user interface, a selection of a financial instrument to push; and () providing, to an aggregator, financial instrument data for the selected financial instrument. The aggregator pushes the financial instrument data to the merchant.

  • Abstract:
    Exemplary embodiments provide systems and methods for contactless card-based credentials. According to one embodiment, in a backend information processing apparatus comprising at least one computer processor, a method for provisioning an authentication credential to an electronic device, may include: (1) receiving, from an electronic device associated with a user, card data for a contactless card, an authorization cryptogram, and a challenge response; (2) authenticating the user based on the authorization cryptogram, the card data, and the challenge response; (3) generating and sending a response cryptogram to the electronic device; (4) returning a cardholder account to the electronic device; (5) wherein the electronic device generates a public/private key pair for the electronic device, an online service, and the cardholder account; and (6) wherein the electronic device persists the public/private key pair in secure storage thereon.
