Abstract:

An AC disconnect switch having a first embodiment with an enclosure with portions of its side walls removed for easier access. The first embodiment of the AC disconnect switch also has a cover that is hinged at the top of the case and opens at an angle greater than 180 degrees to further enhance access. In a second embodiment, the cover is reversibly hinged on the side of the case of the enclosure for enhance access. Both embodiments of the AC disconnect switch have the terminal lugs with roughened surfaces on the terminal block aligned in the transverse direction of the enclosure to accommodate precut and prestripped wiring harnesses. The terminal block is mounted to the case by a tab arrangement which requires only a single screw. The AC disconnect switch also has a locking mechanism with retractable hasp to minimize shipping volume.

Abstract:

A water collection, storage, and distribution system includes one or more individual water storage tanks. Each water storage tank has its own microprocessor that controls the operation of the storage tank so that each storage tank can operate either as a stand-alone storage tank or can be integrated into a series or a daisy chain of storage tanks. Each individual storage tank monitors its water level, its temperature, and its flow rate. When a risk of freezing exists, based on time and temperature, the storage tank can dump water. When the water in the storage tank is approaching stagnation, based on flow rate and time, the storage tank can dump water. When a storage tank is part of a daisy chain of storage tanks, each individual tank monitors not only its own water level but also the water level of the next downstream storage tank and pumps water to the downstream storage tank as required.

Abstract:

A low cost, lightweight, high strength, long lasting, crack resistant, monolithically formed composite structural material and the method of making the same in which the composite consists of a core constructed from lightweight, granulated scrap or waste plastic bonded together with a cementitious slurry binder. The core is covered on one or more of its sides with a high strength outer layer constructed of layers of non-woven fabric material impregnated with the same cementitous slurry binder with the fibers in the layers of non-woven fabric material forming a three-dimensional reinforcement matrix for the cementitous slurry. The composite of the core and covering is co-formed and cured monolithically with the cementitious slurry being continuous throughout the fibers of the layers of non-woven fabric and the core with the lightweight scrap or waste plastic serving as an aggregate for the core. The composite structural material can be molded or formed in various shapes and configurations for various purposes.

Abstract:

A base for equipment, including a pad having a top surface, a plurality of side surfaces, and a core with a bottom side. The core has at least one recess in its bottom side. At least one removable insert foot mates with the at least one core recess such that the insert foot extends beyond the bottom side of the core. Similarly, rather than using a pad with a core, the pad is hollow with a top surface, a bottom surface, and a plurality of side surfaces. The bottom surface has at least one recess therein for mating with at least one removable insert foot. Likewise, the pad can have a top, a bottom, and a plurality of side surfaces with the bottom surface having a plurality of supports ribs extending therefrom. A removable pallet insert or a plurality of removable pallet sleds with a plurality of feet mate with the ribs on the bottom surface such that the feet extend beyond the bottom surface of said pad.
