About:
Jan Stoeppler is a licensed Realtor with a strong background and expertise in residential and commercial construction and construction management in Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico. Like so many people in love with Santa Fe Jan is not originally from here. He was born, raised and educated in Germany and pursued a degree in architecture. Meeting his future wife who had lived in Santa Fe in the late seventies and loved every bit of it instilled in him a growing curiosity about a life in Santa Fe. After a few years of living in Hamburg, Germany and following the birth of their first daughter they decided in the summer of 1986 to pack up their belongings, relocate to Santa Fe and build their first one-room adobe house on the west side of town. Using his architectural training and various experience in carpentry and general construction he picked the construction industry to begin his professional career. While construction in Santa Fe proved to be steady and even booming at times it was not until the national economy began to weaken and finally crashed in 2008 that construction projects became so few and far between that Jan was finally laid off by the company he had worked for more than 21 years. Faced with the stark reality of an impending career change Jan decided to pool his training and expertise in construction and management and get his license as a real estate broker. In spite of the challenging real estate market in the past few years Jan has been growing his real estate business consistently and truly enjoys all aspects of it. Besides his love and appreciation for Santa Fe and his professional knowledge and expertise in building design and construction he is devoted to his customers and clients. His keen ability to listen, his sense of fairness, his creative resourcefulness, his dedication and persistence in negotiating the best possible outcome results in successful transactions for all parties involved. Jan will not rest until he knows you, the customer, has been served expertly and to his/her full satisfaction.
