Abstract:

The instant invention is an electric machine/tractor particularly intended for farming, gardening and landscaping and is nonpolluting and self charging. The tractor accommodates standard farm implements and can supply electrical power to remote areas. To achieve these goals, the machine is comprised of a frame and wheels which are driven independently by hydraulic motors powered by a variable volume, hydrostatic pump that is driven in line, by an electric motor that also drives a hydraulic lift pump and a power-take-off shaft through belts. The hydrostatic pump is controlled by the operator for forward and reverse motion. The electric motor is powered by batteries and the batteries can be recharged by an on-board photoelectric panel. A combination charger/inverter is located aboard the tractor to charge the batteries from any 110V A. C. power outlet or generate 110V A. C.

Abstract:

The instant invention is particularly directed to a method and apparatus for automated handling of panels comprising a plurality of interconnected substrates in order to control and separate the circuit boards in a continuous processing line. One embodiment incorporates two shearing stations and a rotary transfer device therebetween in order to transfer a panel portion from the first station to the second station while controlling and rotating the panel for subsequent feed to the second station such that the panel portion is cut on a line of the substrate which is perpendicular to the original line of cut of the substrate. Throughout the handling of the panels and panel portions, sensing, gripping, and indexed feeding of the panels and panel portions are under the control of a programmable computer.

Abstract:

The instant invention is particularly intended for gardening and small truck farming operations consisting of a method and apparatus which provides for accurate planting of seed in rows and is, by this embodiment, able to repeat it's travel in the row to perform subsequent tasks such as in-the-row weeding, cultivating and other operations as desired. To achieve these goals, the machine which can also be called a metric walking tractor is comprised of a solid frame, encoded motor, batteries, direct coupled worm drive, high traction wheels, drive and control circuitry and universal tool holder with electromechanical power available to the ground conditioning tools as needed. The named machine is also constructed to incorporate traditional tools such as plows, cultivators, weed scrapers and more. To further enhance the usability of the apparatus, an on-board solar panel is included with a special drive circuit which can switch the batteries from parrallel for charging to series for running the motor and control circuit.
