Bragging Rights:

I was born in Mexico City, the biggest city in the world with more than 20 million inhabitants. I come from a loving family in which I was raised by my grandparents and my mother. As an only child I had the opportunity to attend the best bilingual schools. I had my first child at age 15 and at the same time, I became a single mother. I rapidly had to adjust from being a spoiled girl to becoming a teen-ager diving with no skills in the real world. Regardless the big storms of my life, I raised my two children, I built a nice house, I became fluent in three languages, I got an education. I worked for important international organizations like gedas-VW and the University of the Americas. I became independent, and I traveled around seven countries. One of my online courses "Think Spanish Learn Spanish with Gabriela" won the 2011 Sharkie Award for the best foreign language online course. At present I live and enjoy life with my husband on our Ranch in the beutiful area of the Ozarks.
