Abstract:
Individual probes on micro-arrays are re-scaled and corrected with a set of probe dependent coefficients derived from genomic-DNA hybridization signals. A dynamic range for gDNA binding is determined by measuring a concentration signal curve. Signals for each probe are measured during multiple hybridizations within a linear range. Concentration insensitive probes are then found for two sets of experiments. Probes are discarded based on a threshold compared to their standard deviation divided by their average in each set. The correction coefficients are used to calculate a corrected intensity for each probe. Probes having high uncertainty (0. 5 in one embodiment) are discarded. A weighting factor for each probe is determined along with an uncertainty factor. Finally, a call for each gene is made, such as absent, marginal or present.

Abstract:
The invention provides screening methods for detecting and identifying compounds that bind to fungal specific target proteins and nucleic acids, as well as compounds which, upon binding or otherwise interacting with the target protein, can inhibit fungal growth, a method of preventing or inhibiting fungal growth in culture, a method of preventing or inhibiting fungal growth in a mammal and a method of studying pathogenic mycetes using such nucleic acid and/or protein sequences. Particularly preferred is the inhibition of the fungus

Abstract:
Program partitioning of an application can include creating execution flow graphs and static flow graphs of targeted functions or operations of the application. Based on the execution flow graphs or static flow graphs, replay interfaces are created. The replay interfaces provide data flows that are usable in re-execution of the application during program development.
