Seven plus years experience working in a non-profit agency whose mission is to improve the quality of care for children in Arizona. Skills include managing a statewide caseload of 30-40 programs, community outreach and grant and contract writing. The promotion to Lead Early Childhood Specialist has added additional skills of mentoring and advising five staff and the management of the distribution of 75 mini-grants for early childhood programs totaling over $250,000 annually. These skills have strengthened a proficiency in time management and the handling confidential information. Applicant has working knowledge of child development, Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP), state agencies and Arizona Department of Education Standards. Artistic and creative, the applicant is heavily involved in agency fundraising efforts, including chairing the organization of two silent auctions a year.
