About:
Lancaster is my hometown and I have lived here most of my life. My children were raised here
and are now grown. My daughter is a sofware designer in Southlake and my son is an officer in
the Navy getting ready to retire. I have two smart, charming grandsons 10 and 12. In Lancaster
I am an active member of this community serving currently as President of the Lancaster Education Foundation, president of the Centre Street Alumni and as a member of the Lancaster School Board.
In the past I have served as two years President of the Chamber. My financial local donations go to the Lancaster Outreach and other support groups. I live on 70 acres of land originally in my fmaily since 1845 so I am really a Native Texasan. Lots of birds and animals live in the woods surrounding my home
and recently I leased the hay meadow which means my tractor has been parked. I love to travel and just went to Egypt and Kenya. For 23 years I have had season tickets to the Myerson Pops in Dallas.
Even as a grandmother I do not just sit in my rocker but am very active.
