About:
I grew up in and around St. Louis Missouri. At eighteen I started to work for General Motors, like my father before me. I earned good pay, had steady work and great benefits but one thing was missing – people. Sure, I worked beside people and I worked for people but I didn’t work with my customer. I never saw the person who purchased the cars I helped to build. It felt cold and impersonal. I stayed with G.M. for 31 years. In order to keep my job I became a G.M. Gypsy. I moved from St. Louis to Shreveport, Louisiana and on to Detroit. After eighteen months in Motor City I transferred to Tennessee. Through all those years and all those places a thought stayed in the back of my mind. I wondered what I would become when I grew up. After I retired from General Motors I took a little time to relax. I sailed and traveled and even went to college but I still felt something was missing. After quite a bit of soul searching I have figured out what I want to do in the second half of my life. I want to be involved with helping people get what they want. I've started my new career as a real estate professional with Keller Williams in Spring Hill. I'm very excited about working with the people in middle Tennessee and helping them find their new home or sell their existing home. I’ve been blessed greatly in my life. I have caring friends, helpful co-workers and a wife who is much better than I deserve. It’s time to give back by helping others. The one thing I enjoy more than anything else is sailing. I’ve had six boats of my own and am looking for number seven. I write fiction and have one book, “Timetrap” published on Amazon’s Kindle site. I also enjoy woodworking, reading and riding the lawnmower around our one acre yard. I find there’s a lot of peace to be found while cutting grass. As a tool and die maker at General Motors I learned to be precise down to the smallest details. As a spray painter at GM I learned there are no shortcuts to a quality job. As an assembler I learned to work quickly but accurately. In leadership positions at work and church I learned to work with facts and also feelings. I’ll end my biography by asking you the question I ask everybody I meet now, “Who do you know that needs to Buy, Sell, or Invest in real estate?”
