Abstract:
The invention describes a method and apparatus for audible error code detection and identification. The method and apparatus allow an operator, user, or customer to automatically identify an error condition within an electronic device, such as a workstation computer or network server. The apparatus is configured to output an error message without the need for paper or electronic copies of manufacturer error code lookup tables, except as contained within the apparatus itself, thus simplifying the error detection and identification process. Additionally, the method and apparatus allow an operator to select various output modes so that the apparatus may report either a representation of the generated error code or a representation of the corresponding error condition.

Abstract:
An end user work space mounting system for use with a computer cabinet. The end user work space may include a computer terminal or shelf, drawer or platform. The height of the workspace is adjustable in the vertical direction. In the case of a computer terminal, the viewing angle of the monitor, i. e. , with respect to rack and the keyboard, is also adjustable. The keyboard, monitor, and bracket fold into the same plane, so that the keyboard, monitor, and bracket can fold into the rack when not in use.

Abstract:
An apparatus and system are provided for vertically storing computing devices. The present invention conserves horizontal space in a rack mount frame by supporting an I/O service terminal station requiring substantially no horizontal storage space. The present invention includes at least one support connected to a mounting mechanism to permit the I/O devices or I/O service terminal stations to transition between an access position and a vertical storage position. Furthermore, the present invention allows a user to adjust or position the I/O devices in a variety of positions to accommodate the user.
