Abstract:

The present invention relates to a fail safe resilient mount which includes an outer dome shaped member having an aperture centered about an apex thereof and oppositely diposed ears extending therefrom, an inner bell shaped member axially offset from said outer member having a centered aperture at a top thereof and a locking member therein and an elastomeric material encapsulating and bonded to a domed portion of the outer member and encapsulating and bonded to the inner member and interposed between an inner surface of the outer member and an outer surface of the inner member.

Abstract:

A container (20) includes a base portion (21) having a bottom surface (23), front (24) and rear (25) walls extending upwardly from the bottom surface (23), and opposed side walls (26) extending upwardly from the bottom surface (23) and, together with the front (24) and rear (25) walls, defining an open top. A cover (22) is provided to close the open top and may be selectively attached to the rear wall (25) by hinge assemblies (50) and to the front wall (24) by a latch mechanism (60). A side handle (85) is positioned in a recess (81) formed in each side wall (26) and may be pivoted from a position in the recesses (81) to the carrying position outside the recesses (81). Alternatively, a side handle assembly (101) is positioned in a recess (112) formed in a side wall (107) and wheels (111) can be located adjacent to the other side wall (108). The handle assembly (101) may be pivoted outside the recess (112) and its handle member (115) telescoped relative to the handle assembly (101) to extend the length thereof. A track (37) on the upper surface (35) of the cover (22) may be received within a platform (43) on the lower surface (36) of the cover (22) of a like container (20) to stack the same.

A resilient motor mount suitable for use as a vibrational insulating motor mount. The mount connects a motor to a support structure by using a support fixture and a motor stud separated by a flexible member. A plurality of portions of the flexible member surround the support fixture and motor stud to lessen vibrational transfer from the motor to the structure fixture and to lessen metal fatigue caused by metal to metal contact.

Abstract:

A collapsible container (10) includes a first wall (12) and a second wall (14) connected by a collapsible and expandable third wall (16). The third wall (16) includes an interior wall (20) and an exterior wall (22) that are each collapsible and expandable. At least one spring (60) extends between the first wall (12) and the second wall (14) between the interior wall (20) and the exterior wall (22) to urge the first and second walls (12, 14) apart. Straps (62) also extend between the first wall (12) and the second wall (14) to counteract the force of the spring (60). The length of the straps (62) between the first wall (12) and the second wall (14) is adjustable between a fully collapsed and fully expanded position. The length of the straps (62) is adjustable because the straps (62) slidingly engage the second wall (14) and are held with respect to the second wall (14) by locking devices (64). The locking devices (64) normally engage the straps (62) to lock their position with respect to the second wall (14) but may be released to allow the second wall (14) to move away from the first wall (12).
